   This review is for "The Beatles 1+" 1 CD/2 BluRay set. There is a lot to cover here, so please bare with me. I was not expecting a lot of advancement from the audio due to the past history of the Abby Road studios. All through the Beatles recording history, all they had was a 4 track tape recorder in the studio/5(K).

   "Revolution 9" is a recorded composition that appeared on the Beatles' eponymous LP release (popularly known as The White Album). The sound collage, credited to Lennon–McCartney, was created primarily by John Lennon with assistance from George Harrison and Yoko Ono. Lennon said he was trying to paint a picture of a revolution using sound.

   On disc 1 Revolution 1 is incredible. The rest of the Beatle material is slightly different mixes but nothing earth shattering. A nice listen. Step inside Love was already released and is re-hash. Disc 2 is boring. There are some interesting tracks of Come And Get It and No Escaping Your Love but you get bored fast.

   Revolution #9 is one of my least favorite Beatles listening experiences, but the alternate version here is still quite interesting, and was only available on this disc for many years. And if you can block out Yoko's voice, Revolution #1 is essential too, though Kinfauns To .
